yeah,you have to do that while in a minecraft launcher
a good launcher that supports that is tlaun.ch (tlauncher legacy,isn't spyware or sus)

after loading the cookies in firefox, use essential's alt manager (in game main menu) and open the login page in firefox. this should log you in with the account and save it for further use without the need for readding it.
