Which version works best for hypixel Vape Lite?

Which version of forge is best to use while playing Hypixel with Vape lite!?

I also keep crashing every time I enter bedwars.
(How do I fix this too if anybody has any suggestions)

Wait, do you need to use forge with vape lite or can you use complete vanilla minecraft and inject vape lite?

I do not use mods and only vape lite
(I've used 1.8.9 forge but it doesn't work)

On 1.8.9, Vanilla, Forge, and most 3rd party clients work.

I had no idea you could use vanilla! That's probably why I crash, because I'm using forge.
