so, I am having some issues injecting vape into my 1.8.9 Forge client with only Optifine as a mod and after a couple of tries, it crashes my client without injecting the vape in

Do you crash after or before it says “Failure to inject”?
Try removing Optifine and see if it fixes your problem. If it still doesn’t, then delete your “.minecraft” folder and redownload Minecraft (If you don’t have a lot of resource packs/mods). This should fix any issues with injecting.
