it gives you a keybind to switch to an item, right click with it, and then siwtch back
eg. it can be used to infinite rod easily

this is the macro window
in the "type name" field you type in the name of the item you wanna switch to
eg. for fishing rods you can type

fishing rod

or

346

^ 346 is fishing rod's id (ids can be found at https://minecraft-ids.grahamedgecombe.com/)
then u press enter
you can set the time for how long you hold the specificed item for in the "delay" field:

and you can also turn on "double click" if you want the macro to right click with the item twice
ther's also a delay for that as well
then when you're done u press add
now you should have something liek this

now left click on the thing i circled

and press a key on ur keyboard to bind it
and you're done

ps. for infinite rodding you shouldnt' have double click on
