If you use low angles and not too much reach it should be safe for your main

Any aura will get you staff banned unless you're really careful with it..

Depends on the gamemode you are playing. If you're playing on bw, sw, duels or any competitive gamemode then you should avoid using killaura at all because of Atlas replays and staff on gamemodes.

if you still want to use ka as rare toggle or you're playing some dead arcade game like capture the wool then here are settings:

aps: 9-14
angle: 60 or your current fov
4.0 swing range
3.4 attack range
switch delay: 400 ms
target mode: yaw
max targets: 1
some people will boast about using "140 fov 4 block" on their main regularly but it's better to stay safe than banned.
