Difference Between Launcher Versions

Is there a difference between launcher versions?
I just realized that I have been using Vape v3's launcher v1.5.1 for 3 months, not knowing that there was an updated launcher (v1.6.0).
Do the more update launcher versions help with anything? Or are they just the same but with a different GUI?

theres a new gui?? what does it look like?

I'd suppose the launcher updates just changes how the client is injected or what is injected, that is it's main purpose after all (I believe).
