Why does vape have hidden modules?

You can hide/show every module in vape v4. I believe this option is designed to make the interface cleaner. Basically you can just hide modules you don't usually use.

If you mean the TextGUI thing I personally hide every module that is not bound, so I notice if I toggle some module in a moment that it is not supposed to be used

Press on the eye icon, which is in the top right of every category, and choose your visible modules.
