Vape V2 1.8.9 Poor Performance

So I've been using vape on 1.8.9 forge and noticed that I get random lag spikes. It looks like I'm running out of memory, but even if I add more the problem still happens. This doesn't happen on 1.7.10.

Emailed Manthe about this a few weeks ago, unfortunately you will have to sacrifice deleting all your mods in forge. The only thing you can have installed is Forge itself, nothing else. @Manthe is this right?
