Upgrading Vape v2 to vape v3

I bought vape v2. But I would like access to the public profiles. So I was just wondering how could I upgrade from vape v2 to vape v3. I Downloaded vape v3 but I was just wondering where do I go from there.
I copied the two v3 files to a folder. And started it with the command
java -jar "Vape V3\commons-io-2.4.jar"
Vape starts up. But it says "Error while loading, Couldn't connect to server."
Vape v2 works fine for me. So what is different to make v3 work??
If anyone could tell me what else I need to do to make it run that would be appreciated.

Today my vape offered me the option to update the launcher and now its starting. But now I find that my vape GUI is very large is there a way to make it any smaller?

Thefuck? Just download V3, extract to a desktop folder and run it while MC is opened..
