One newbie question about Vape V4.

I want to ask, what is actually the point of Strafe?
I'm new in the Minecraft Cheating Community.

Not specific to Vape, but strafe allows you to not take (or take less) air friction, making it easier to move around whilst in the air, allowing you to get out of your opponent's fov more easily, for example.

It does. For me it seems to stop me moving forward at a point and force me to move left and right.
