We got away from Spook when servers started realizing they could fairly easily catch it by doing a java dump and searching for strings. Vape wasn't a rebrand, it is a different product servicing different, newer needs.

I have thought of that as well, till today I still don't know why he left Spook. Maybe he just want to revamp it.

Vape is mostly just a rework of spook, it is entirely differently made and was made to fit the needs of what was coming, just in time before people became wise enough to the unpatchable methods of forge mods. The majority of people who bought spook still got vape for free, the rest got a significant discount.
