is vape lites 2d external esp bugged right now?

2D external is working fine for me, for what your describing, I'm not sure what is going on there.

Search works fine too, I think you are typing it wrong or you are searching ID's for a different version.

Yeah, i have the same problem on v4. They are not random, it looks like gui bugged and these boxes are gone to the left up corner. Same thing with scaffold block counter.

For external 2d esp, if you use shaders, old animations, the 2d esp wont work.

Don't use it on full screen mode because it won't work.

And if the esp arent on players, check your windows global scale.

so for search, i tried coal ore as; "minecraft:coal_ore" , "coal_ore" , and "16". Is this correct?

Okay im not on full screen. And my windows scale is on the default 125%

I had the same problem just remove the scale and put it at 100% and not 125 or other
