Beaner Net Help

Hi! I recently heard in my guild that like 90% of the sumo players use beaner net to either improve their ping or decrease it... As a 300 ping player I wonder if this is false or not. If it isn't can you please link some good settings *Either to higher ping or lower ping without getting banned*
