Its been suggested literally countless times and it has never been added so. Suggesting it more isn't going to help as they're clearly aware of people wanting it.

Realistically there’s no way there’s more than 5 people TOTAL who might actually using vape in a recording, with a mic on, trying to appear legit in videos. 9/10 people who want this feature just think it’s cool and probably would never have any actual need for it, waste of time imo considering how complicated it would be
