No, it needs to be spoofed. Aim based backtrack, what vape currently has is useless since any decent anti cheat is capable of detecting it.
Aim based, not lag-based, etc, are all loaded terms and false. Aim based isnt even a thing, who comes up with this shit.

It's different means to the same exact end - any anticheat out there that is actually on a live server, capable on detecting any sort of backtrack, will be detecting both.

If you want vape's backtrack to bypass you will need an anticheat to overcompensate, and to do so by a lot.

The compensation is meant to exactly/nearly match your ping, meaning it won't flag any weird hits you might get while legit because of ping.
On the other side, spoofing ping isn't going to make your hits delayed in any way but you'll still have the lag compensation allowing you to use higher settings on stuff like reach. That's the exact reason increasing your ping to 100k won't be a magical disabler for the majority of anticheats.

Doesn’t really work like that. Those only happened to work in the past because of how specific anticheats happened to compensate. From a servers perspective you are still reaching at an increase distance before you calculate where they would’ve been. A flat ping can give an advantage or disadvantage in different situations. Selectively spoofing at those situations is detectable but not yet widely adopted on all anticheats.

Non selective ping is what you already have available in vape, and is not detectable assuming the server calculates with basic compensation. It does not have selective ping spoofing, which is detectable.

Complicated situation, but in short what you hear of with “lag based” takes advantage of specific loopholes for specific anticheats. An exploit more or less just not explicitly. That’s likely to be wiped out in the future since it was only ever relevant for specific anticheats.

I couldn't see this happening without backtrack being implemented into more mainstream clients, which is fairly, probably gonna happen soon.

^ Meant for the one which spoofs ping, forgot to say.
It's only in 1 ghost client so far though, so I wouldn't think much of it for now.

You should just use 3.0-3.15 reach with 70% chance on advanced chance mode, it will work.

whats advanced chance vs normal chance. Also whats with everyone saying "staff ban". Am i the only one whos never been staff banned and blatantly cheats for years

Advanced chance starts off at the given value and makes its way up to 100 as you combo the player.
