Vape V3 executable launcher

So, basically I went to Ryan's tutorial and he said that the download for the Vape V3 executable (found at www.vape.gg/dl/v3exec.exe) is better than the jar/dll combo. My question is that will this be up to date? If V3 updates and I redownload the executable would I be using the latest Vape or is the executable some sort of abandoned project that won't update anymore?

You don't really need to redownload the exe version, the launcher updates itself.
The only one time I remember being told to re-download the exe from the website was when @Vape said there were some silent changes to the exe launcher specifically; still have no clue how'd he know that anyways.
