Why no vanish detector?

So I see on suggestions that people have asked for a vanish detector and the responses are all the same. "They can't do that." Why not? it doesn't say anywhere why they can't and I see a lot of other clients that have it.

i think he means mods online checker
u can easily do that by automatically sending p invites

I'm not sure what the term mods online checker means. I see other clients that have what I'm looking for. Specifically future client is the best one I have seen. When staff goes in vanish it tells you which staff is vanished and when they leave the server/unvanish. I have no idea how this works for reasons others have listed but it's been done so it must be possible.
