vape lite cosmicclient

it says on vape lite it will inject into any 1.8.9 launcher but when ever I launch vape it says can not inject.
can someone help me out.

cosmic client is 1.8 not 1.8.9
vape lite compatibility mode is 1.8.9 only

when i inject vape lite into lunar client "1.8.9" it shows error and doesnt inject, when i close vape lite, it just crashes my game
