Hypixel IP bans?

I was banned on my alt account for cheating is it safe to go on my main account? does hypixel IP ban?

Yes they do YOU SHOULD ALWAYS USE A VPN WHEN CHEATING AND NEVER USE A VPN ON YOUR MAIN DONT JOIN ON YOUR MAIN TILL YOUR ALT IS UNBANNED

you can go on a alt and not get ip banned they don't really do ip bans but if they catch that it is you on the alt they its a perm ban on both accounts for ban evasion.

Check if u have a dynamic Ip on your router, if you do so just unplug it and plug it in again and then check on some website (just google my ip or something) if your ip actually changed, if it did then you should be fine. Also Hypixel normally doesnt insta ban your account if u got banned on another account a couple days ago from the same ip (how would people be able to play on internet cafes or public wifis), so if u wanna be really sure just go out of your way to get a new ip as mentioned before.
