no u didnt. becuz u dont realize that ping is measured in milliseconds. players would need 1000 ping to even have 1-second delay. which means if people have like 500 ping (half a second delay) it does not matter
That’s what makes it matter, you’re really just proving that you don’t not what you’re talking about even more. If you hit someone at 3 blocks, then go backwards, the server will see you hit at more than 3 blocks because of your position change and delayed hit. That’s why high ping players are really sketchy sometimes when fighting, it feels like they’re using reach
on server side they can account for those delays because they can see the ping of both players. server side has all the data so it doesnt matter lol

makes sense but you compared it to agc... if herobrine.org had reach checks like agc - it would be a much more popular server
it isnt as accurate sure, but the difference is so minimal that it doesnt matter. he has 150 ms which is almost 2/10 of a second. the higest ping players have 300-500 so at worst its like half a sec
no matter what ping you have, you cannot get away with cheating server side. the only difference it makes is when someone is watching you. So if the server has no anticheat at all It would make a difference.
