I have been banned (by a staff) a while ago on my main (before i had vape) on my home ip.
And I noticed that even with TCP no delay mod on and with my ping being 50ms, I will always get the second hit on someone who has higher ping (like 90-150).
So i got vape to use reach, and even then, I don't see/feel the extra reach distance even when i turn the modual up to something like 4.25 blocks of reach.
Yet when I go to my friends house, play on his pc, with lunar client and he gets like 80-100 ping. I'm able to get first hits, and my hit registration is so much better.
So I'm wondering if Hypixel has flagged my IP and gave me a disadvantage of some sort. Is this true? I read a thread on the vape forums saying that if you are going to use blatant mode you should use a VPN, but it didn't specify weather it was to prevent IP bans or something else.
