As Nametags greatly reduces FPS on servers due to the large number of players on the map and objects etc. I would suggest adding a separate option in which you can see the opponent's HP status and the effects he uses, i.e. eating a golden apple etc. I think that this would have an impact on the quality of the game and would reduce the problem of falling fps on the servers.
