Can someone tell me why this is happening?

Velocity doesn't do anything now when i play on hypixel, i can play with 2% velocity and if i get hit once while mid air i get thrown like 4-5 blocks like vanilla, i literally take less kb when having it disabled.

Make sure you haven't kite mode activated

I never use kite mode, could anti combo have something to do with it?
edit: ye, it was, having anti combo on makes you not take less kb

It reduces your knock back after X combos.

Ye, i was told by a friend that you'd take the kb you set, and then 0% when it landed on the X combos
