Why do you cheat?

honest question
why do you guys ( cheaters) cheat? Like is it for certain cosmetics , stats , because its fun or what?
Because I cheated for like a good few weeks and then as soon as I got 100k coins and got the dragon rider.
I didn't feel the urge anymore to play bedwars so I'm just trying to see why people cheat and see if I can find myself a reason to continue playing minecraft bedwars in general or atleast gain some closure since a year ago , when I was cheating back then for the same goal I was grinding for weeks and weeks ( cheating) and somehow couldn't get 100k yet now I got 100k points in the first week of my hypixel journey ( on my new account)

r fun, its cool being blatant in some trash servers and i also like to cheating against some random nerds to get them mad.

Before 2022, if you were a legit player who grinded seriously without queue dodging, you could meet cheaters every other game, and sometimes you would get sniped by bhoppers on alts for fun. For many people the competitive nature of the gamemode (fkdr, etc.) leads them to cheat to have a chance against cheaters, since you can get cheats very easily, I think maybe half of the leaderboard players were known cheaters, so it was just the meta.

After mojang closed multiplayer access to old mojang accounts, the cheating community started to die because it was harder to blatant cheat + hypixel started focusing on improving their anticheat for combat-related features and banning more closet cheaters. I used to log onto capture the wool on my main and use 4.2 full ka/keepsprint/0velo every day, because no staff would ever check that game and it was pretty fun. Though I got tired of it and I don't play Minecraft anymore + now it's been mostly patched.

Though closet cheating remains a habit for me, because I've forgotten how to click while aiming now, so I can't really play without an autoclicker.
