I disagree. Me for instance don't use Vape just because there is no Linux support.

Yeah me too , i tested most of the games in linux and they are working perfectly fine even better perfomance. The linux gaming community is getting bigger and bigger.

It would take some work but they can do it 100% At first it could be cool just to release it for one version like 1.8.9 and a newer version like 1.21.11 and see how people react to it and how it works.

Yeah for example I think Doomsday client works on linux cause of this

You should try using wine, then install java and a launcher in wine, then run minecraft and inject vape v4 in wine. There may be some problems but its a good way to start

This method stopped working ages ago, also the performance of minecraft under wine is very bad, unplayable for me at least

Yep. Wine sucks for minecraft. You can play. But very buggy and not a pleasurable experience.
