What do people mean by FOV? Idk what that’s supposed to mean

If it’s relevant, my ping is 50-100 ms. My FOV is 75 ig

It’ll only aim in that FoV. So if you go above your screen FoV you will be aiming onto targets you cannot see. If you are under your screen FoV you will not aim on things that are far from the center of your screen.

For fov use 40.
Once your aimassist locked an ennemy, it will follow him until he leave the reach, even you can't see him because he is behind fou.

Idk how to really explain it but usaully I use 6 below my in game fov or you can use your fov in game it really doesnt matter just dont go above like 180

Use 40. Once aimassist detect target (whe nrunning to you) He is locked. And if he go in your back you will still aiming on him.
